Why Rubber Boats Are So Popular
Posted on July 27, 2009
Using rubber boats today has become very common and sales are increasing. If one need a boat for their vacations, a rubber boat is an excellent alternative as it`s light and very portable. One can put it in the trunk of a car, in a bag or even as baggage on a plane.
I bought an inflatable boat last year and I have no regrets for one second as it satisfy all my needs for boating.
I am a passionate bass fisher and use it whenever I can. When you are fishing it`s a huge advantage to have a boat to bring you to the hot spots. It`s so easy, I just put it in the car and drive to my favourite places and my catches are now way bigger.
You probably don`t need a boat for fishing, maybe for kayaking, but that`s not a problem. There is rubber boats for every small boating needs; whitewater paddling kayaks, sports boats, sailing boats, pontoon boats and longboards.
The sports boats can take large outboard motors so one can go waterskiing with your kids. The length of these sports boats are from 9`2″ to 14`.
The catamaran sailing boats can take onboard four adults and are made for easy and smooth sailing.
So if you need a boat for fishing, camping, exploring or other outdoor activities these boats are highly recommendable.
The possibilities are many, and the manufacturers are constantly developing new types and even better materials.
The superior material these boats are made of is extremely strong and durable. When hitting a rock it just bounce off without getting damaged. After one year of significant useage including hitting all kinds of objects it`s still in good shape and no repairs have been required.
Compared to a traditional boat I cant see any limitations. The strength, usability and security are at least at the same level and adding the above mentioned features makes these boats an excellent choice.
Did I mention the price ? No, I think not but they are from $299 and up so they are not expensive either.
Do yourself a great favour and check out these rubber boats when you consider buying a boat.
