Small ponds usually have two huge advantages when it comes to fishing for trophy largemouth bass. The first is that most times you can cast right across them and reach any part of the water from any angle. The second enormous advantage is that today’s fisherman stay far away from the small ponds. They are too caught up in showing off their latest yellow $30,000 bass boat and driving it past as many eye balls as possible. The last thing on their minds is moving through the trees of some 4 acre farm pond. But, for the die hard fisherman, who actually loves to fish, this hate of small time fishing is a god send.
